A calm to-do app for Android

Today, just a few tasks.
The rest can wait.

Each day Kitsuzen composes a short, balanced list out of everything you have saved, leaning toward what matters to you. Finish one task and the next quietly takes its place. The rest waits, out of sight.

Why Kitsuzen

Most to-do apps keep score. Kitsuzen keeps proportion.

Built for people tired of overflowing lists, streaks and scores. No pressure to do more. Just a calmer shape for your days.

No streaks, no scores

Nothing to keep up and nothing to lose. Kitsuzen never grades your day and never nudges you toward bigger numbers.

Urgent does not beat important

Kitsuzen respects deadlines, but it does not let them push aside what you actually care about. Every part of your life keeps its share of the week.

Done weighs more than left

Kitsuzen shows where your days actually went, not how much is left. You will not find a counter of undone things anywhere in the app.

What is inside

A few quiet pieces that fit together.

01 · Now

One short list, composed for today

Each day Kitsuzen picks a handful of tasks from everything you have saved: what has a deadline, what repeats gently, and the areas you gave the most weight to. Finish one and the next quietly appears.

  • Around five tasks at a time, by default
  • Refills itself as you finish
  • Overdue stays calm and neutral, never red

02 · Brain dump

Empty your head in seconds

Type or dictate whatever comes up, one thought at a time. It all lands in a single inbox. No dates, no categories, nothing to decide right then. Sort it into ToDo whenever you are ready.

  • Typing and voice capture
  • Nothing needs to be filed right away
  • Premium sorts the pile for you

03 · Weekly mix

Your week, in your proportions

Give each area of your life a share of the week and the time of day it suits best. Kitsuzen composes every day from that mix, so the quiet areas keep their place even when work gets loud.

  • A gentle shape, not a budget
  • Time windows per area, like evenings for family
  • Adapts as the week unfolds

04 · Balance

See where your days leaned

A weekly view of where your finished tasks and your focused time actually went. Beside it you see how you meant to spend the week. No grades and no targets, just an honest picture you can do something with.

  • By completed tasks or by tracked time
  • Intention shown beside reality
  • Energy check-ins, always optional

Focus timer

A quiet timer for one task at a time, with breaks that respect your rhythm.

Close the day

A short evening ritual that sets the day down gently, so it does not follow you into the night.

Gentle repeats

Habits as “twice a week”, not fixed alarms. A skipped day breaks nothing.

Weekly reflections

A calm archive of your weeks. Premium adds a written reflection to each one.

How it works

Three moves, then it carries itself.

01

Empty your head

Pour everything into the brain dump. Or set a task up properly, with a date and a category, whenever you feel like it.

02

Weigh your week

Tell Kitsuzen how much space each area of your life should get, and which part of the day suits it best.

03

Live from a short list

Each day brings a handful of tasks that fit. Finish one, take a breath, and the next one is already there.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is Kitsuzen free?

Yes. The whole core system is free: composing your day, the weekly mix, the focus timer, rituals, backups and export. It is not a trial and nothing expires.

What does Premium add?

Premium is an optional AI layer. It sorts what you dumped from your head into categories and writes a reflection on each week. It also lets Kitsuzen take your energy into account when it composes a day, which is a calculation that happens on your device, and it keeps your whole reflection history. Prices are shown in the app.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. The app works fully offline and no cloud profile of your content exists. You can export everything as JSON or Markdown, or delete it. An account is needed only for Premium.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Kitsuzen starts on Android. If it finds its people, other platforms can follow.

How is it different from other to-do apps?

Most to-do apps show you everything at once and let the loudest thing win. Kitsuzen keeps the rest of the list out of sight and composes a short list for each day in the proportions you chose, so important things keep their place beside urgent ones. And there are no streaks, scores or badges.

What languages does it speak?

English and Czech today, in the app and on this site. More languages are on the way.

Who is behind Kitsuzen?

One developer, not a company. Kitsuzen started with my own problem: a job, a family, hobbies, evening projects and a long list of things I want to learn. I can spend weeks deep in one of them without touching the rest. Planning was never the hard part. Remembering the rest of my life while I did it was. So Kitsuzen composes a short day in the proportions you set, and keeps the rest aside until its turn comes.

How do I get help?

The support page has quick answers and a contact email. We read everything and usually reply within a few days. Go to support.
