1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the Kitsuzen app for Android and to this website. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. They are an agreement between you and the operator named at the top of this page.

2. The service

Kitsuzen is a personal task app. The core system is free of charge: composing your daily list, the weekly mix, brain dump, focus timer, rituals, the balance view, backups and export. It needs no account and works offline. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove your access to your own data.

3. Premium

Premium is an optional paid subscription. It adds your full reflection history, monthly and yearly reflections, the written weekly reflection, sorting your brain dump into ready tasks, and composing that takes account of the energy you record on your own tasks. The written text of a reflection and the sorting are the parts that use AI; the composing is a calculation on your device. It is purchased and managed through Google Play, where the current prices are shown, and it renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play; Premium then runs until the end of the paid period. Purchases can be restored on a new device by signing in with the same Google account.

Google is the seller. Payment, invoices, refunds and the statutory right to withdraw from a purchase are handled by Google Play under its own terms, so a refund request goes to Google, not to us. Write to us anyway if something went wrong; we would rather know.

4. AI features

The AI features produce suggestions, sortings and written summaries from the content you choose to process. Text written by AI is marked as such where it appears, so you always know what you are reading.

They are an aid, not an authority: results can be imperfect, and you decide what to keep. Do not rely on them for decisions that need certainty. Content sent for AI processing is handled as described in the privacy policy, which names the processor.

Composing your day is not AI. It is a calculation that runs on your device, from the balance you set for your categories, what you have already finished this week and the energy you record on your own tasks.

5. Your content

Everything you write in Kitsuzen is yours. We claim no rights to it, and we could not use it if we wanted to: it stays on your device. You are responsible for what you store in the app, and for keeping your own backups where it matters; the app gives you export and backup tools for exactly that. Kitsuzen needs no personal data of yours, and the AI features send the content they work on, so we recommend not writing any into the app.

6. Fair use

Do not use the app or its AI features to break the law, to harm others, or to attempt to disrupt the service. Automated or excessive use of the AI features may be rate limited. That is the whole list.

7. What Kitsuzen is not

Kitsuzen helps you notice your workload and close your day. It is not a medical or therapeutic tool, it does not diagnose or treat anything, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

8. Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. We work carefully, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors, nor that an AI result will suit your situation. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you, or our liability for intent or gross negligence.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app at any time; uninstalling it removes your local data. We may end support for the app with reasonable notice, and export will remain available to you until then. If we end a paid Premium period early, the unused part is refunded.

10. Changes and governing law

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change applies. These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and that does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in. If you are a consumer and a dispute cannot be settled between us, you may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz) for out-of-court resolution.
